The Board has 7 members.
The 3 we know will be on the Board after April 4th are:
Alonzo Burton
Natalie Johnson-Berry
Mrs. Bobbie Saulsberry
How can we thrive as a team?

Alonzo
Burton
Mr. Burton's time as Board President will be invaluable as I'm going through my first year and completing my 18.5 hours of Board training.
We will complement each other perfectly in the pursuit to increase student leadership. I am a Leader in Me coach, and he is the founder of Game Changers of America, which teaches leadership principles to young people.

Natalie
Johnson-Berry

Mrs. Bobbie Saulsberry
If the only incumbent running for re-election loses, then Mrs. Saulsberry will be the only Board Member to serve prior to 2019. This experience will be invaluable to the team in terms of knowing what has and has not worked in the past.
Further, Mrs. Saulsberry prioritizes community and school integration. I have extensive experience creating and facilitating community events and fundraisers. Together, we will be able to unite the schools, all types of stakeholders, and the entire community toward a school district where everyone can participate and thrive.
Improving academics in schools is always a TOP priority. Improvement requires leaders who specialize in tested subjects.
I've served as a math teacher, instructional coach, and interventionist. Ms. Johnson-Berry is my English counterpart. Together, we'll have a perspective that could inform progressive, innovative ways to maximize academic success on end-of-year assessments.
We are both completing educational doctoral degrees as well, so we might be able to empower each other as accountability partners.
